Clandestine broadcasts to North Korea: Nippon no Kaze & Furusato no Kaze
CLANDESTINE broadcasts to North Korea - Nippon no Kaze and Furusato no Kaze
1300-1330 on 9950 TSH 100 kW / 002 deg to NEAs Korean Nippon no Kaze
1330-1400 on 9950 TSH 100 kW / 002 deg to NEAs Japanese Furusato no Kaze
Thanks for posting this video sound bite. I picked up Furusato no Kaze in Japanese on 9950 at 1343 UTC February 13, 2015. The signal was very weak. But then I live in Nevada which is terrible for SWListening. My home is a condo so I can't have an outdoor antenna. I was testing my new Eton Traveler III radio that only uses a whip antenna. Guess you can say I'm antenna-challenged, but I'm working on solutons to fix this. Therefore I was very happy to receive the broadcast at all.
